The questions people ask before hiring a decorator for the first time.
What does the decorator deliver?
It depends on the quotation: a colour palette, a reference board, a list of furniture and decor with where to buy it, and a layout of the room. Each quotation lists the deliverables before you decide.
Do I need civil work to decorate?
No. Decoration works with what already exists. If a job turns out to need civil work, the decorator tells you and you decide.
How much does a decoration consultation cost?
Posting the project is free. Each professional sends their own quotation, with the fee and the timeline. You pay stage by stage, as you approve each deliverable.
Can I ask for a quick consultation only?
Yes. Mention in the brief that you want a consultation and decorators reply with quotations in that format.
How does buying the furniture work?
The decorator points to the pieces and where to find them, online or in your city. The purchase is yours, with no commission in between.
